We went looking for the gear. It didn't exist.

CRUZ CMBT started in 2006, out of a simple want: high-end performance apparel for combat athletes, made in the USA. Sourcing domestically mattered to us. It also turned out to be a condition almost nobody was willing to meet.

The custom fight short and rash guard market had the same gap. Everything available was loud in a way we weren't after, nothing matched the clean, minimalist aesthetic we wanted to wear ourselves. And handing production to someone else meant handing over the quality and workmanship too, which we weren't willing to do.

So we built it ourselves, in a small studio in Dallas, Texas. We've been acquiring the equipment to manufacture high-end performance apparel ever since and the support we've gotten for choosing to make it here has been considerable.

What we do

Dye sublimation and custom cut & sew.

• Dye Sublimation

  On our performance fabrics, the graphic goes into the fabric instead of onto it. It will never fade, crack or peel.

• Performance Fabrics

  Moisture-wicking and anti-microbial, built for rooms that get hot and sessions that go long.

• Soft-Hand DTG

  Many of our lifestyle pieces are printed with soft-hand DTG inks, you feel the shirt, not the graphic.

• Micro Quantities

  Because manufacturing is domestic and the production is ours, we can run tiny numbers on custom orders. One piece is a real order here.
